By accessing roboticsdata.in, requesting a sample dataset, or entering into a data collection or licensing agreement with Robotics Data Private Limited ("Robotics Data AI," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you're entering these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
Where a signed statement of work, dataset license, or factory partnership agreement conflicts with these general terms, the signed agreement governs for the parties to it.
These terms apply to three groups: robotics companies and data teams that license or request our datasets; factory and facility partners who host our capture programs on-site; and general visitors to our website.
Separate, more specific agreements (a dataset license, a factory partnership agreement) take precedence over this page for the parties who sign them, but this page still governs anything those agreements don't cover.
We collect egocentric, teleoperation, and simulation data through calibrated capture rigs, in-house and partner-operated hardware, and simulation pipelines built on NVIDIA Isaac Lab/Sim. Regardless of which hardware captured a given session, Robotics Data AI owns the resulting raw footage, sensor streams, and derived datasets.
Customers who license a dataset receive a non-exclusive right to use it under the terms of their license agreement; ownership of the underlying dataset remains with Robotics Data AI unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
Facilities that host a collection program operate under a separate Factory Partner Agreement covering site access, worker consent procedures, safety requirements, and compensation. That agreement, not this page, is the controlling document for factory partners. Contact us for the current version before beginning a collection program.
Where a collection program involves payment to a facility, payment is made only to the facility owner or a designated point of contact named in the Factory Partner Agreement, on the invoicing schedule set out in that agreement. Disputes over payment are handled first through direct discussion with our team, and if unresolved, through the process described in Section 9.
Our annotation pipeline, quality-control tooling, capture-rig hardware designs, and the Robotics Data AI platform are our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that IP to a customer or partner, even where a dataset built using it is licensed to them.
We treat customer task specifications, target environments, and unreleased product plans as confidential, and expect the same in return for our own collection methodology and pricing. Both parties agree not to circumvent the other to deal directly with a factory partner, capture crew, or customer introduced through this relationship, for a minimum of 12 months after the relevant engagement ends.
Datasets and simulation outputs are provided on an "as-is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Robotics Data AI's total liability arising from any dataset, license, or partnership agreement is limited to the fees paid for the specific deliverable giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including model performance outcomes.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes that can't be resolved through direct discussion are referred to arbitration seated in Chandigarh, conducted in English, with the arbitration award being final and binding on both parties.
